Job summary

The Pavilion Behavioral Health System in Champaign, Illinois seeks a PRN Staffing Coordinator to manage scheduling and staffing for Nursing Services. The role ensures continuous, adequate coverage and involves coordinating Nurses and Mental Health Associates in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include creating monthly and daily rosters and performing clerical tasks for the Director of Nursing, supporting patient care across ages and services in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Prefer experience in a psychiatric hospital setting as a Mental Health Tech working with children, adolescents and/or adults.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products preferred.

The Pavilion Behavioral Health System has been the leading provider of behavioral health and addictions treatment for families in Illinois since 1989. The PRN staffing coordinator performs the scheduling and staffing function for Nursing Services for the hospital. Ensures the facility is properly staffed at all times. Creates a monthly and daily schedule for Nursing Services staff, including Nurses and Mental Health Associates. Performs other clerical duties for the Director of Nursing.
