University of Maryland Medical System Corporation seeks a Clinical Nurse for UMMS Staffing (USC) to deliver safe, evidence-based, patient- and family-centered care across inpatient and ambulatory settings. Assigned through Staffing Center, deployed based on need and unit competencies, in line with the Maryland Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies.

The role requires active Maryland RN licensure or compact eligibility, BLS, and unit-dependent ACLS/PALS/NRP.

Formación

• Current and active unencumbered RN license in Maryland or compact eligibility.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required based on unit competencies.
• Minimum of two years of recent acute care nursing experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct and indirect nursing care appropriate to patient population and acuity.
• Performs comprehensive patient assessments, interventions, and documentation in EMR.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to promote safety and quality of care.
• Administers medications safely and uses clinical equipment per policy.
• Delegates and supervises nursing care activities within competency levels.
• Engages in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Conocimientos

RN license

BLS certification

ACLS/PALS/NRP required

Educación

Bachelor's degree in Nursing

BSN preferred
