Job summary

Hope Builders Career Connections (HBCC) in Santa Ana, CA, is hiring an Account Manager for a hybrid, full-time role. Base salary is $65,000–$70,000 with a performance bonus opportunity.

You will own a territory in Orange County, cultivate client partnerships, and drive outbound sales activity. As part of HBCC's social enterprise staffing team, you will present staffing solutions, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with recruiters to fill jobs quickly and accurately.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of sales, business development, or account management experience.
• Proven track record in high-volume outbound phone activity.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Must be local to Orange County and within commuting distance of Santa Ana.

Responsibilities

• Sell staffing and recruiting services to local businesses across Orange County.
• Generate new business through cold calls, email outreach, and networking.
• Identify key decision-makers and build relationships that stick.
• Develop and manage ad campaigns to grow HBCC's visibility with prospective clients.
• Attend industry events and professional association meetings to expand your network.
• Present tailored staffing solutions including temp-to-hire and direct-hire options.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and fee structures with clients.
• Partner closely with internal recruiters to fulfill job orders quickly and accurately.
• Maintain strong relationships with active and past clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
• Meet and exceed activity targets for outbound calls, meetings, and new account revenue.

Hope Builders is a nonprofit empowering Orange County's young adults with mentorship, life skills, and job training. Hope Builders Career Connections (HBCC) is its social enterprise staffing company - and every client relationship you build directly creates career opportunities for program graduates.

We are growing our sales team and looking for a sharp, motivated Account Manager who is ready to own a territory, build meaningful client partnerships, and thrive in a high-activity sales environment.

What We're Looking For

• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a pipeline

• Must be local to Orange County and within commuting distance of Santa Ana

Schedule & Logistics

• Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
• Hybrid schedule (in-office during onboarding/training period; remote flexibility earned)
