Elevance Health is seeking a Staff VP Deputy CISO to lead the information security program across the enterprise. The role requires 15+ years of leadership and deep experience in regulated environments, with a strong AI and cloud security focus.

The position supports a hybrid in-office/work-from-home model and requires collaboration with senior leadership, legal, and risk teams to drive strategic security initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in Information Security leadership.
• 10+ years of leadership of distributed IT organizations.
• Experience leading cybersecurity in regulated environments (healthcare, financial services, or government).
• Deep understanding of AI, ML, NLP, and neural networks; cloud architectures across AWS, Azure and GCP.

Responsibilities

• Oversees security technology infrastructure, data security hygiene, risk remediation, and integrations.
• Leads security domains: IAM, Security Technology Services, Data Protection, Threat Management, Cloud Security, Security Architecture, AI.
• Collaborates with senior leadership and regulators to ensure security objectives are met.
• Translates strategic vision into measurable execution and delivery across multiple disciplines.
