Job summary

Elevance Health seeks a Staff VP Deputy CISO to lead the information security program, translate strategy into measurable execution, and drive cross-functional cyber security delivery across multiple disciplines.

The role reports to the Chief Information Security Officer and manages technology solutions while ensuring adherence to security controls in a regulated environment. In-office 3 days per week with hybrid/remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in Information Security leadership.
• 10+ years of leadership of distributed IT organizations.
• Experience leading cybersecurity in regulated environments (healthcare/financial services/government).

Responsibilities

• Oversees security technology infrastructure, data security hygiene, risk remediation, and tech integrations.
• Leads security organization domains: IAM, Security Tech Services, Data Protection, Threat Management, Cloud Security, Security Architecture, AI.
• Collaborates with senior leadership, legal, audit, risk, regulators, customers, and vendors.
