Sandisk's Memory Technology Group in Milpitas, CA is seeking an experienced Staff Engineer to lead digital design for NAND Flash memory. You will drive microarchitecture, RTL design, verification, and timing analysis to meet power, performance and area goals, collaborating with world-class engineers to deliver innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• MS in Electrical Engineering or related field; 6–8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with chip-level integration, lead of full product life cycle (requirements, design, implementation, test).
• Knowledge of RTL to GDSII flow, including RTL coding, simulation, synthesis, timing analysis, DFT, P&R, clock tree synthesis, extraction, and physical verification.
• Working knowledge of NAND flash memory cell device operations, programs for read/erase
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• RTL design and verification in Verilog, linting, CDC analysis, design integration, synthesis, DFT, timing closure.
• Balance design trade-offs with modularity, scalability, power, area, and performance.
• Interface with internal/external teams to define specifications and features.
• Participate in Post-Si evaluation and debugging.
• Drive cross-functional support for productization.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
