Enphase Energy is seeking a Verification Engineer to validate a custom RISC-V VLIW processor architecture powering energy conversion products. You will work with architecture, RTL, verification, compiler, firmware, and control algorithm teams to develop comprehensive verification methodologies ensuring deterministic timing and functional correctness.

The role involves mixed-signal verification environments and collaboration across hardware and software teams to deliver safe, reliable control

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s with relevant industry experience.
• Strong understanding of processor architecture and pipelines.
• Experience with SystemVerilog-based verification environments.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and verification.
• Familiarity with RTL design, simulation, and verification workflows.

Responsabilités

• Develop verification strategies for a RISC-V VLIW architecture and ISA extensions.
• Create SystemVerilog-based verification environments, checkers, scoreboards, and regression infra.
• Verify pipeline timing, memory interactions, exceptions, and architectural conformance.
• Develop trace-based validation for deterministic timing in real-time control.
• Analyze traces and waveforms to identify hardware or compiler issues.
• Collaborate with compiler engineers on code generation and scheduling verification.
• Drive co-verification across RTL, compiler toolchains, firmware, and system apps.
• Integrate RTL with RNM and mixed-signal verification platforms.
