Enphase Energy, Inc. is seeking an experienced Verification Engineer to validate a custom RISC-V VLIW processor architecture powering energy conversion products.

You will ensure deterministic operation across the compute stack, including hardware pipelines and ISA extensions. You will work with architecture, RTL, verification, compiler, firmware, and control algorithm teams to develop comprehensive verification methodologies, ensuring safety-critical control loops run with predictable timing and

Qualifications

• Experience developing verification environments using SystemVerilog and industry-standard methodologies.
• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis for hardware/software interactions.
• Experience analyzing instruction traces and timing in processor architectures.

Responsibilities

• Develop verification strategies for a custom RISC‑V VLIW processor architecture and ISA extensions.
• Create and maintain SystemVerilog-based verification environments, assertions, checkers, scoreboards, coverage models, and regression infra.
• Verify pipeline correctness, memory subsystem interactions, and architectural compliance.
• Develop trace-based validation to ensure deterministic timing for real-time control apps.
• Collaborate with compiler engineers to validate code generation and ISA utilization.
• Drive HW/SW co-verification across RTL, compiler toolchains, firmware, and system-level apps.
• Contribute to mixed-signal verification environments (RTL, RNM, analog platforms).
• Document verification strategies and debug findings for long-term product quality.
