Job summary

Google is seeking a UX Research Manager in Google Labs to partner with the Head of UX Research and co‑lead strategy across exploratory 0‑to‑1 bets and scaling 1‑to‑10 Labs products.

You will manage, mentor, and grow a team of researchers while staying close to craft through selective projects, pioneering methods for emerging AI technologies and guiding cross‑functional teams from concept to adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience leading UX researchers in a team.
• Experience conducting UX research for AI, ML, or emerging tech.
• Includes leadership and strategy experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of UX researchers across Labs products.
• Define research strategy and prioritize work across 0‑to‑1 and 1‑to‑10 projects.
• Influence senior stakeholders to drive research-backed product decisions.
• Oversee research operations, resources, and tooling across the team.
• Synthesize insights to guide roadmaps and product decisions.
