Google LLC’s Labs is seeking a UX Research Manager to partner with the Head of UX Research, co-leading strategy and operations across early 0-to-1 bets and scaling 1-to-10 Labs products. You’ll act as a player-coach, mentoring a team of researchers while staying hands-on with key studies.

You will shape research methodologies for emerging AI technologies, helping cross-functional teams progress from concepts to sustained user adoption. A demanding, impactful role with broad influence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in an applied research setting.
• 5 years of people management leading UX researchers.
• Experience researching AI/ML, emerging tech, 0-to-1 incubations, or scaling products.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Head of UX Research to co-lead research strategy and operations across 0-to-1 and 1-to-10 Labs products.
• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of researchers while staying close to the craft through selective research.
• Pioneer and adapt research methodologies for emerging AI technologies to move concepts toward user adoption.
• Influence senior stakeholders to drive research-backed product decisions.
• Oversee research operations, resources, and tooling across the team.
