Job summary

Google Research UX seeks a Senior Interaction Designer to transform complex tasks into intuitive experiences for billions. You’ll craft user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, collaborating with researchers, engineers, and product managers to push the boundaries of human‑AI interaction.

You will apply user-centered methods from concept to execution and help evolve the Google design language with a focus on emerging AI technologies and cross‑functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
• Experience using AI tools throughout the design process.
• Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Responsibilities

• Create clear, intuitive user flows and state behaviors and design frameworks for human‑AI collaboration.
• Translate research and AI model capabilities into functional prototypes using AI‑assisted coding and tools.
• Deliver polished designs with attention to layout, motion, and interaction patterns following Google's Material Design.
• Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product managers to translate technical constraints into intuitive user experiences.
• Test ideas quickly via prototypes and iterate based on feedback in fast-moving research environments.
