Job summary

T.C. Harris School & Academy, a MyPath Company, is seeking a Staffing Support Coordinator to develop, train, and retain Direct Support Professional staff. You will coordinate new-hire training, mentorship, and hands-on coaching to ensure high-quality care and program fidelity.

Strong communication, documentation, and de-escalation skills are essential as you support staff across shifts, while maintaining confidentiality and collaboration with the programming team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental, behavioral, or emotional needs preferred.
• Experience providing staff training, coaching or professional development preferred.
• Experience with crisis intervention and verbal de-escalation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new-hire training and mentoring for DSP staff.
• Provide on-the-job training and floor orientation.
• Monitor staff competency and programming fidelity.
• Coach staff and provide feedback to strengthen performance.
• Serve as trainer in physical intervention and de-escalation.
• Conduct monthly staff fidelity checklists and incident reviews.
• Provide shift coverage and support during absences.
• Maintain documentation for licensing and compliance.
