Job summary

T.C. Harris School & Academy, a MyPath Company, is hiring a Staffing Support Coordinator in Lafayette, IN. You will develop DSP staff through hands-on training, mentoring, and coaching, while ensuring competency and documentation for licensing and compliance.

The role emphasizes crisis de-escalation, incident follow-ups, and collaboration with program leadership to support a safe, effective, and supportive environment for staff and students.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional education in human services, behavioral health, education, or related field preferred.
• Experience with crisis intervention and verbal de-escalation preferred.
• Experience in residential/educational/human services setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new-hire training and mentoring, provide coaching, and monitor staff competency.
• Maintain training records and certifications for licensing and compliance reviews.
• Lead on-site training and 1:1 coaching to develop staff skills in real-time.
• Manage mentoring programs: goals, matching, progress, and outcomes.
• Provide crisis support and de-escalation during incidents and debriefs.
