Job summary

T.C. Harris School & Academy, A MyPath Company, is seeking a Staffing Support Coordinator to develop DSP staff through hands-on coaching, mentoring, and structured training programs. The role focuses on onboarding, competency checks, and supporting staff during challenging situations.

The position requires strong communication, meticulous documentation, and the ability to manage multiple training initiatives across shifts while upholding MyPath values and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional education in human services, behavioral health, education, or a related field preferred.
• Experience training, coaching, mentoring, or professional development preferred.
• Experience with crisis intervention and verbal de-escalation preferred.
• Experience working in a residential, educational, healthcare, or human services setting preferred.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-the-job training and floor orientation for new staff according to regulations and timelines.
• Identify training needs through interviews, observation, surveys, and performance reviews.
• Provide daily feedback to supervisors on new-hire progress and onboarding.
• Conduct side-by-side training and coaching in the milieu to develop staff competency in real-time.
• Maintain training certifications and staff training records; prepare OTJT forms and coaching logs.
