Job summary

Micron Technology's DASG Architecture Lab and CEL teams are seeking an experienced Lab Infrastructure Engineer to own lab systems, test equipment, and reference platforms used for memory and AI workload analysis.

You will deploy and maintain servers, GPUs, FPGAs, and AI hardware, build reproducible validation environments, and collaborate on memory trace, DRAM replay, and performance characterization to drive data‑driven engineering decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years in server architecture, system validation, or lab infrastructure.
• Experience configuring validation platforms and lab assets.
• Automation experience using Python or Shell.
• Knowledge of BIOS, BMC, firmware, OS, drivers, networking, power, and thermal concepts.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day bring-up, readiness, maintenance of lab systems and reference platforms.
• Deploy and maintain server, GPU, FPGA, and AI hardware for workload characterization.
• Build stable validation environments including BIOS, firmware, drivers, and networking.
• Collaborate to enable memory tracing, DRAM analysis, and data-driven decisions.
• Develop processes for asset tracking, calibration, and lab readiness.
• Create automation to improve lab setup, health monitoring, and reporting.
• Diagnose infrastructure issues across hardware, software, and networks.
• Support customer enablement with system prep and performance characterization.
