Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Baltimore, MD seeks a Staff Systems Integration & Test engineer to lead the integration and test of advanced radar, COMMS, and SIGINT systems for defense programs. You will plan, execute, and document tests across lab benches and field environments, and mentor junior engineers.

A STEM degree with extensive HW/SW experience, DoD Secret clearance (or the ability to obtain SAP), US citizenship, and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field; 12 years of relevant experience (10y with MS, 8y with PhD).
• Experience in system integration and test on complex HW/SW, preferably in defense or aerospace.
• Experience leading lab/bench ownership or test campaigns.
• Strong communication and leadership; ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
• US citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and testing of radar, COMMS, and SIGINT systems for defense programs.
• Coordinate comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for verification of requirements.
• Plan and execute I&T readiness reviews, design reviews, and audits of facilities.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and other disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
• Mentor early-career engineers and drive test excellence across programs.
