Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Systems Integration & Test Engineer in Baltimore, MD, to lead test planning, execution, and verification across complex HW/SW systems in defense programs. You will coordinate across hardware, software, and cross-functional teams, ensuring requirements are met and performance targets are achieved.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance (or the ability to obtain) and US citizenship, with onsite work in Baltimore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 12 years of relevant experience (or 10 years with a Master’s; 8 years with a PhD)
• Demonstrated experience in system integration and test on complex HW/SW systems, preferably in defense or aerospace
• Experience leading lab/bench ownership, test campaigns, or requirements verification activities
• Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to coordinate across multiple teams and present technical status to management and customers
• Active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to obtain/maintain SAP
• Candidate must be a US citizen
• Ability to work onsite in Baltimore, MD.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate integrated testing activities across hardware, software, and systems to verify requirements
• Develop and execute test plans in lab facilities and in the field
• Review test requirements to ensure completeness of the test program
• Perform analysis of test results and prepare comprehensive reports
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure schedule and performance goals are met
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across programs
