Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Roy, UT is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer (Level 5) to support the Sentinel program. You will be the Systems Engineering SME, driving technical rigor into requirements, interfaces, and architecture for GN&C.

This full‑time role requires US citizenship with an active DoD Secret clearance and 5+ years in systems engineering, plus MBSE and verification planning experience, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM with 12+ years of experience; or master's with 10 years; or PhD with 8 years.
Must be a US citizen with active DoD Secret Clearance; SAP access as needed.
5+ years of Systems Engineering experience.
1+ years of full life cycle of Systems Engineering (requirements definition/decomposition, verification, etc.).
1+ years of Requirements development, MBSE and/or verification planning.

Responsibilities

Drive technical rigor into requirements, interfaces, and architecture for GN&C.
Lead/primary reviewer for GN&C Systems Engineering for higher level review boards.
Close TBXs in GN&C SE products and drive requirement development.
Run trade studies for integrated GN&C products.
Ensure horizontal integration across SE product teams.
Support environmental requirement development and test strategy.
