Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Principal Systems Engineer to advance target tracking and sensor fusion for RF subsystems. You will drive data analysis, integrate with digital simulations, and coordinate with hardware and software teams on on-site programs.

The role emphasizes ongoing maintenance, incremental improvements, and close customer interaction to balance requirements with performance. A Secret clearance is required to start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience or advanced degree with commensurate experience in STEM.
• U.S. Citizenship is required and a current/active U.S. Government Secret Clearance is required.
• Experience with multi-target tracking, adaptive processing, or sensor fusion algorithms.
• Experience with MATLAB or equivalent programming/analysis languages; RF signal processing knowledge.
• Experience with systems engineering principles and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a core contributor for established algorithms and systems.
• Execute technical tasks under general supervision with incremental improvements.
• Ensure current systems meet performance objectives using ICDs.
• Utilize MATLAB and C++ for basic analysis and code modifications.
