Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Oklahoma City seeks a Principal / Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to lead radar subsystem design, analysis, integration and verification.

The role requires coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to manage baselines, schedules and costs for complex airborne radar programs. Candidates should have DoD Secret clearance, SAP eligibility, and strong MBSE, SysML, ICD, and radar signal processing experience.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance with a background investigation within 6 years.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain SAP clearance.
• Preferred: engineering degree in Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical or Engineering Physics; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience with airborne military radar systems, performance analysis, and integration onto flight platforms.
• Experience in radar system architecture, CONOPS, and end-to-end performance modeling.
• Familiar with MBSE, SysML and tools such as Cameo or similar.
• Proficiency with radar signal processing concepts and MATLAB/Python for analysis and simulation.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with diverse engineering design teams to provide technical solutions for radar subsystems.
• Support establishing and managing the technical baseline for program milestones and flight tests.
• Lead across multiple teams to manage tasks and communicate technical status.
