Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Systems - Nuclear Hardness & Survivability Engineer for the Colorado Springs area to support the Sentinel program. The role focuses on designing test circuits, developing levels per requirements, and overseeing test execution within the NH&S team.

The candidate will contribute to MBSE activities using CAMEO/DOORS, with a strong emphasis on radiation effects, EMI/EMC considerations, and qualification testing for semiconductors and Sentinel subsystems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) with a minimum of 12 Years with Bachelors in Science; 10 Years with Masters; 8 Years with PhD
  • Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain SAP approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
  • Weapon System Experience (Minuteman III or similar military or industry experience)
  • Has worked or performed Radiation Lot Acceptance Testing in accordance with MIL-STD-1766
  • Can design test circuits for CCA level testing at dose-rate facilities
  • Understanding of AVE and C&L survivability level 1-7 system requirements and qualification
  • MBSE Experience (CAMEO and DOORS)
