Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corporation is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer in Roy, Utah to lead the Network Risk & Compliance efforts for the Sentinel program. You will join the Weapon System Integration team under SEIT, driving RMF across program networks and coordinating ATOs and SSP/SAR activities.

The role requires DoD Top Secret clearance, extensive RMF experience, and collaboration across IPTs to deliver secure network architectures and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM
• 12+ years with a Bachelor’s, 10+ with a Master’s, or 8+ with a PhD in a related field
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance and eligibility for SAP access
• Experience with RMF, STIG, and security assessments
• Development of network documentation such as SSP and SAR
• Experience coordinating ATOs and program risk reviews
• Strong knowledge of DoD security frameworks and NIST standards
• Ability to translate program-level requirements into network deliverables
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams on complex defense programs

Responsibilities

• Drive/network Risk, Issues, and Opportunities (RIOs) and IRTs
• Implement RMF across program networks
• Track RMF tasks and close findings before MPE
• Ensure network changes meet RMF & regulatory mandates
• Coordinate ATOs for program networks
• Write SSPs and manage SAR closures
• Prepare SSAA
• Provide networking compliance SME inputs program-wide
• Coordinate with other network development teams
• Develop and maintain network documentation
• Suggest system/process enhancements for reliability
• Influence network requirements and interfaces
• Support governance for waveform and OSI network management
• Assess design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable network infrastructure
• Maintain current DoD trends in network frameworks and analytics
• Maintain high customer satisfaction and effective communication
