Our target applications include autonomous vehicles, intelligent video surveillance, self‑flying drones, smart wearable cameras, 360‑degree immersive video, and more.
Combining technical expertise and a commitment to quality, Ambarella has established itself as the industry standard for excellence in video performance by offering pristine imagery, efficient compression, and low‑power operation.

Responsibilities

• Develop ML and computer vision algorithms/systems.
• Training and optimization of deep learning/ML based computer vision algorithm for edge devices.
• Validation and performance assessment on large-scale datasets.

Requirements

• Master or PhD Degree in CS/EE.
• 5-8 years of experience with Edge Devices.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++.
• Experience with deep learning and its applications to computer vision.
• Experience in developing or using deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, ONNX, etc.).
• Experience in optimization of deep learning/ML algorithms (e.g., retraining, quantization, pruning, etc.).
• Experience in image quality tuning, image processing algorithm, and image processing pipeline is a plus.
• Must work in our Santa Clara, CA offices 3 days a week.

Compensation & Benefits

The base range is $160,000-$183,000. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to convert to a full‑time regular position.
We also offer new‑hire RSU grants and the opportunity for annual RSU grants, as well as other highly competitive benefits.
