Job summary

Ambarella seeks an accomplished leader to drive Enterprise Applications strategy and execution across ERP, HRIS, CRM, and Finance platforms. You will oversee lifecycle management from requirements to deployment, partner with security and audit, and mentor a global team to deliver measurable business value.

The role focuses on governance, scalability, and cost efficiency while guiding cross-functional initiatives in a fast‑moving edge AI hardware company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, or related field; master’s preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive enterprise application management experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
  • Deep experience with large-scale enterprise platforms (ERP, HRIS, Finance, Supply Chain, CRM) and complex system integrations.
  • Proven success with Workday, Oracle 12, Azure, Adaptive platforms and cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted technology advisor to senior leaders and collaborate with executives to prioritize initiatives and deliver business value.
  • Provide leadership for core enterprise platforms (ERP, HRIS, CRM, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing).
  • Define and execute the enterprise application strategy and roadmap aligned with long-term growth.
  • Oversee end-to-end application lifecycle: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, support.
  • Ensure governance, access controls, data integrity, and audit readiness.

Job Description

With an installed base of more than 42 million AI SoC units, Ambarella's products are utilized in a wide variety of physical edge AI applications, spanning edge endpoint and edge infrastructure use cases including physical security, vehicle safety, telematics, autonomy, portable video, aerial drones, and other emerging robotic applications. Building on this footprint, Ambarella offers a full-stack edge AI platform, from highly optimized silicon and programmable software to AI agentic frameworks that coordinate perception, decision‑making and control across devices. Ambarella's low‑power systems‑on‑chip (SoCs) integrate proprietary and highly efficient perception and deep learning neural network AI accelerators, enabling electronic systems to become more productive with partial or complete levels of machine autonomy.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted technology advisor to senior leaders and collaborate closely with functional leaders to prioritize initiatives and deliver measurable business value.
  • Provide leadership and direction for core enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, HRIS, CRM, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and custom business applications).
  • Define and execute the enterprise application strategy and roadmap, aligned with business priorities and long‑term growth plans.
  • Oversee the end‑to‑end application lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Implement strong application governance, including access controls, data integrity, segregation of duties, and audit readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX, data privacy regulations, information security policies, and internal IT controls.
  • Partner with Information Security and Internal Audit to proactively identify and mitigate application‑related risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement in user experience and system adoption.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing global applications team, fostering accountability, technical excellence, and collaboration.
  • Manage system integrators, software vendors, and outsourcing partners to ensure quality delivery and cost effectiveness.
  • Own the applications budget, including operating expenses, capital investments, and vendor contracts.
  • Optimize total cost of ownership while ensuring service quality and business continuity.
  • Provide regular reporting on project status, risks, and performance metrics to executive leadership.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • Deep experience with large‑scale enterprise platforms (ERP, HRIS, Finance, Supply Chain, CRM) and complex system integrations.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and implementing the following platforms: Workday, Oracle 12, Azure, Adaptive.
  • Strong understanding of IT governance, SOX controls, data security, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead global teams and manage complex, cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with senior business leaders and influencing at the executive level.
  • Must work in our Santa Clara, CA offices 4 days a week.

The base range is $251,000-$275,000. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. We also offer new hire RSU grants and the opportunity for annual RSU grants, as well as other highly competitive benefits.
