Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Staff SSD Hardware PCIe Engineer to lead PCIe bring-up, validation, and system-level design for high-performance SSDs. You will collaborate with Architecture, Verification, Firmware, and Product teams to deliver reliable silicon and software integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of hardware development and PCIe subsystem experience.
• Proficiency with PCIe Gen4/5/6, LTSSM, IP bring-up, and validation.
• Post-silicon validation and debugging expertise.
• Proficient in Python, TCL, C, or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Develop hardware and system specifications from requirements.
• Lead PCIe bring-up, validation, and debugging for SSD controller SoCs.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Build, Verification, Firmware, and Product teams.
• Evaluate and support PCIe IP solutions and third-party vendors.
• Create validation environments and test plans; drive issue resolution.
• Improve validation methodologies and automation to boost efficiency.
• Apply AI-assisted tools to accelerate development and debugging.
