Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a hardware engineer to lead SSD hardware development across the full product lifecycle, from schematic capture to production support. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet firmware, system, performance and reliability requirements, define PCB stack‑ups, and apply signal and power integrity techniques.

This role emphasizes mentoring, hands‑on SI lab work at 20–35 GHz, and leveraging AI‑assisted tools to accelerate development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent).
• 5+ years hardware build experience in SSD, storage or HPC systems.
• Experience with board bring-up, soldering, debugging and test equipment.
• Strong knowledge of high-speed PCB build, routing reviews, EMI/ESD mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet hardware requirements (firmware, system, performance, reliability).
• Define architecture and perform build reviews, requirements development and product planning for SSD solutions.
• Conduct signal and power integrity analysis, simulations and validation; document results and recommendations.
