Job summary

MongoDB Inc. is seeking a senior security-focused SRE/Infrastructure Engineer to advance automated guards and platform protections. You will implement secure runtimes, guardrails, and threat detection across multi-cloud environments, driving security at scale.

In this role, you will write production-grade Go, Python, or Rust code, leverage Terraform and IaC pipelines, and lead end-to-end security initiatives from design to production reliability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in SRE, Infrastructure Engineering, or Cloud Security Engineering.
• Staff or Principal scope experience: define direction and deliver initiatives.
• Strong coding skills in Go, Python, C, C++, or Rust.
• Experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems or cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Harden hosts and containerized workloads using Linux security mechanisms and eBPF tooling.
• Secure containerized infrastructure across multi-cloud environments with RBAC, network policies, and Gatekeeper.
• Build and manage CSPM, workload identity, vulnerability management, and access controls across AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Write production-quality code and use Terraform to version, test, deploy security controls as code.
• Build real-time security monitoring, logging, and alerting systems at Atlas scale.
• Lead initiatives from threat modeling to production reliability.
