Job summary

MongoDB Inc. is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Security Engineer to join the InfraSec team. You will harden Linux hosts and container workloads, implement multi-cloud security controls, and build automated CSPM and identity services across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Responsibilities include writing production-grade code, applying Terraform and IaC practices, and leading security projects from design to production reliability, with a focus on Atlas security at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SRE, Infrastructure Engineering, or Cloud Security Engineering.
• Strong coding skills in Go, Python, C, C++, or Rust.
• Proven track record building/operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Hands-on with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for automation.
• Ownership of infrastructure in Linux, Kubernetes, and major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Responsibilities

• Harden hosts and container workloads with Linux security mechanisms and eBPF tools.
• Secure containerized infra across multi-clouds with RBAC, network policies, and runtime detection.
• Build and manage CSPM, workload identity, vulnerability management, and access controls across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Write production code and use Terraform to version, test, and deploy security controls as code.
• Create real-time security monitoring, logging, and alerting to track Atlas-scale posture.
• Lead initiatives end-to-end from threat modeling to rollout and reliable production.
