Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate residents, determine speech therapy needs, and develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with physician orders and facility policies.

You will supervise CFY clinicians or students, coordinate with physicians and nursing staff, educate families, participate in care conferences, and ensure timely documentation while maintaining a safe, compliant clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state.
• Maintain license in good standing at all times.
• Continuing education requirements per state practice.
• CPR certification if required by licensure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise CFY Speech Clinical Fellows and students.
• Communicate progress and goals with physicians, nursing staff, families.
• Participate in care conferences, Utilization Review, and rehab meetings.
• Provide in-services and ensure timely, accurate documentation.
