Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to provide deep technical leadership across multiple teams and drive cross-cutting engineering initiatives. As a Staff engineer you will shape architecture, raise the engineering bar, and mentor engineers while translating ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Eight or more years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven track record of leading complex, cross-team engineering initiatives.
• Deep expertise in at least one of distributed systems, cloud platforms, or large-scale data systems.
• Strong programming skills in at least one major backend language.
• Excellent system-design and architecture skills.
• Demonstrated mentorship and technical leadership of senior engineers.
• Strong understanding of operational excellence, reliability, and observability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Track record of influencing engineering culture and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide deep technical leadership across multiple teams and drive cross-cutting engineering initiatives.
