Solace in the United States is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead hands-on development, drive architectural decisions, and elevate engineering excellence across our stack. You will ship production-grade features and mentor engineers while solving complex frontend and backend challenges.

You’ll collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into scalable solutions, architect for performance, and guide the team toward a high-impact, high-autonomy culture in healthcare tech.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-stack engineering experience.
• Mastery of React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Strong background in scalable system design, API development, and database architecture.
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments with hands-on delivery.
• Ability to set technical direction and mentor engineers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and execution bias.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development of key features from DB models to UI components.
• Serve as a technical leader and drive engineering best practices.
• Mentor engineers, conduct reviews, and improve workflows.
• Collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Architect and optimize systems for performance and scalability.
• Champion code quality, testing, and CI/CD.
• Identify bottlenecks in architecture and team processes.
• Lead large releases to production on a CD cadence.
