Job summary

Solace is seeking a Technical Lead to guide a talented engineering team, split between hands-on coding and mentoring peers. You will shape architecture, drive releases, and set engineering standards, while delivering high-quality, user-focused features.

You will mentor 2-6 engineers, work with product and design, and help scale systems in a fast-paced startup environment. Applicants must be based in the United States.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of frontend and backend experience shipping high-impact products.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers and driving technical initiatives.
• Strong React fundamentals and background in Typescript/Node.js.
• Ability to craft delightful, consumer-oriented experiences in a start-up setting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and deliver production-ready code with great UX.
• Own technical architecture for major initiatives and guide complex decisions.
• Mentor engineers and unblock the team to keep momentum.
• Collaborate with product and design to translate vision into executable plans.
