Job summary

Solace Health is seeking a Technical Lead to shape a talented engineering team. You’ll split time between writing production code and mentoring engineers, owning architecture, and driving high-impact features for consumer-focused healthcare products.

Based in the United States, you’ll move fast in a startup environment while maintaining quality and reliability. You’ll collaborate with product and design, set standards, and help grow the team through hiring.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in frontend and backend development.
• Experience leading or managing engineers.
• Strong React fundamentals and a React/TypeScript background.
• Experience in startup environments shipping high-impact products.
• Excellent communication skills with bias toward action.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and produce production-ready code with great UX.
• Build features from database models to UI components.
• Own architecture for major initiatives and guide decisions.
• Create services and APIs to support web apps.
• Mentor engineers and unblock the team through reviews.
• Drive large releases to production with a continuous deployment cadence.
• Set technical standards for code quality and testing.
• Manage and mentor 2–6 engineers with 1:1s and career development.
