Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Staff Technical Lead to shape storage, caching, and identity infrastructure. You will drive multi-quarter initiatives, design distributed systems across AWS/GCP, and mentor engineers to improve reliability, performance, and developer experience at scale.

You’ll partner with infrastructure and product teams, influence architectural choices, and contribute to AI-enabled platform improvements for an AI-first world.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-quarter and multi-year roadmaps for storage, caching, and identity infra.

• Act as hands-on staff-level tech lead from concept to rollout.
• Collaborate with infra and product teams on priorities and investments.
• Improve developer experience and velocity at scale.
• Drive service reliability, observability, and cost efficiency.
• Mentor engineers and resolve complex technical conflicts.
