Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years of experience in software engineering or related area; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years of experience in software engineering or related area.
• Experience with object-oriented design and programming languages such as Java, C, and C++.
• Experience with RESTful web services, microservices, cloud platforms (Azure, GCP), containers (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Explore relevant software products and solutions from an existing repertoire that can address business/technical needs.
• Assess software gaps between customer and business expectations and the existing software product and solutions.
• Classify requirements into applicable types.
• Anticipate solution risks during requirements gathering and inform stakeholders.
• Create user stories for software components and applications.
• Track and analyze defects and perform regression testing across code changes.
