CVS Health Digital is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to serve as both a Technical Lead and Individual Contributor. You will help build a next-generation platform enabling use cases and products focused on healthier living.

You will create proofs of concept and work with engineers to drive delivery excellence, partner with IT leaders, resolve complex issues, and provide RCA to improve the digital ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 7+ years delivering enterprise software in large-scale environments.
• 5+ years of Java development experience.
• 5+ years of cloud initiatives and cloud computing technologies.
• 5+ years of designing and developing modern microservices and cost-effective APIs.
• 3+ years of CI/CD Pipeline automation.
• 3+ years of Agile-based development environment.
• 2+ years of Agentic AI / Generative AI experience.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable solutions meeting business requirements and quality standards.
• Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions with architects and senior engineers.
• Ensure performance, optimization, and scalability of systems.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards and quality guidelines.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
