Job summary

Syndio is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to help build out third-party platform apps and internal tooling while strengthening authentication and authorization across the ecosystem. You’ll own APIs, SDKs, and developer experiences for external consumers, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable solutions.

You’ll work in a remote-first environment within Canada, with a focus on platform security, versioning, and reliable integrations across HRIS & enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Senior, staff-level IC who can own complex platforms across teams.
• Experience building distributed systems and APIs for external developers.
• Strong auth, OAuth2/OIDC/SAML, and multi-tenant security experience.

Responsibilities

• Build third-party platform apps and integrations across HRIS/ESM ecosystems.
• Own internal tooling and agentic projects that scale across the company.
• Design scalable APIs and deliver a strong developer experience with docs and SDKs.
