Job summary

Prime Intellect in San Francisco is building Prime Agent, an open-source coding and research agent. This generalist software engineer role spans product development and the underlying agent systems. You'll own features end-to-end, from design through deployment and monitoring, and ship at the pace of an early-stage company tackling one of the most important problems in AI.

This role is based in our San Francisco office. Candidates must be based in San Francisco and work in person.

Qualifications

• Strong TS and Python engineering skills with production-ready code.
• Experience building developer tools, dashboards, and platform products.
• Ability to design and ship features end-to-end with user focus.
• Experience with asynchronous systems and real-time interactions.
• Familiarity with frontier AI models and tooling.
• Bias toward shipping and ownership of production code.

Responsibilities

• Build intuitive interfaces for working with agents and managing tasks
• Own features end-to-end from design through deployment and operation
• Collaborate with users to turn feedback into product improvements
• Work with teams across Prime to build cloud agents and integrations
• Collaborate with researchers to turn capabilities into reliable features
• Enhance internal tooling and developer experience
