Spryte Medical, LLC. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer with deep medical imaging software expertise to drive architecture, verification, and regulatory-compliant delivery of the Spryte imaging platform.

You will lead complex software projects, implement production-quality signal and image processing, and collaborate across systems engineering, quality, regulatory, and clinical teams to bring innovative devices to market.

Qualifications

• 12+ years software engineering experience, preferably in medical devices.
• Lead on software development projects with strong architecture skills.
• Highly proficient in modern C++, multithreading and design patterns.
• Experience in regulated environments and software lifecycle standards.
• Familiarity with FDA/MDR regulatory contexts and cybersecurity for medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Spryte imaging application software and tools.
• Lead robust software architectures and perform code reviews.
• Implement verification, validation, and automated tests.
• Translate imaging algorithms into production-quality software.
• Develop intuitive UI/UX and rapid prototypes for features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for regulatory submissions.
