Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead delivery of software integrated into our autonomous maritime and defense products. You will act as technical lead, senior IC, and team lead, owning end-to-end delivery across autonomy, simulation, data processing, and C2 features.

You will drive architecture choices, collaborate with internal and external teams, mentor engineers, and help scale software across platforms, with up to 20% travel to co-locate with end-users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a leadership position within a high performing technology organization.
• Extensive professional experience as a Software Engineer across domains.
• Ability to own software systems end-to-end across lifecycle.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-year software roadmap across teams.
• Lead architecture and capability evolution.
• Collaborate with external teams on interfaces.
• Drive software platform design including hardware, compute, storage, and networking.
• Mentor senior engineers and lead cross-disciplinary teams.
• Travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users.
