Job summary

Ro is building a vertically integrated healthcare platform that connects telehealth, diagnostics, pharmacy, and logistics. The Staff Software Engineer will act as a technical leader, architect systems, mentor teammates, and drive end-to-end delivery that directly impacts patients and providers.

You will partner with engineers, product managers, and clinicians to define roadmaps balancing immediate needs with long-term stability and scalability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with leadership roles.
• Experience architecting, designing and building scalable web apps and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with Python and modern frameworks (FastAPI or Django) and metrics instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable services using Python and FastAPI.
• Own and mentor within your team, drive performance improvements.
• Define roadmaps and translate complex problems into actionable plans.
• Mentor engineers and influence technical direction across teams.
