Job summary

Signify Health is partnering with CVS Health to build enterprise software that powers clinician experiences and performance management. A Staff Software Engineer will architect and deliver distributed systems, mentor teams, and set technical direction across the project scope.

You will work across frontend, backend, and data layers using modern languages and tools, with travel as needed and a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability of large-scale systems.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in software engineering: problem solving, data structures, algorithms, patterns, concurrency.
• Experience as a polyglot software engineer across multiple languages.
• 6+ months of experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
• Experience with full-stack development to ship and operate large-scale systems.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of RDBMS (SQL Server/PostgreSQL).
• Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Experience with modern front-end tech (React, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, JavaScript) and full-stack patterns.
• Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Excellent communication and ability to travel quarterly.
