Job summary

ezCater is seeking a Staff Engineer for the Finance Technology team in the US. You will own the architecture for pay-ins, payouts, invoicing, and tax, and define APIs across channels. You will lead multi-quarter initiatives end-to-end while staying hands-on and mentoring others.

You will drive technical health, evaluate providers, prototype with PSPs, and lead innovations in AI-native SDLC, collaborating with senior leaders across ezCater. This role offers remote-hybrid work from Boston or home.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture for the Finance Technology platform, including pay-ins, payouts, invoicing, and tax calculation.
• Define APIs and contracts for Finance Technology services across channels.
• Lead multi-quarter initiatives end-to-end with Product, design the system, and ship while remaining hands-on.
• Own technical health by defining quality metrics and monitoring.
• Evaluate finance technology providers and prototype with PSPs/d supporters.
• Lead innovation on our AI-native SDLC and mentor senior leaders.
