Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer to guide DevX for the Claude Platform, spanning the Console, docs platform, SDKs, and CLI. You will shape technical direction, collaborate with product and design, and ensure a scalable developer experience across multiple languages.

You will lead architectural decisions, drive cross-team initiatives, and mentor colleagues in a fast-moving startup environment focused on safe, steerable AI.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of practical full-stack engineering experience, ideally with 2+ years operating at a Staff or equivalent technical leadership level.
• Led the design and delivery of complex, developer-facing products across the full stack.
• Depth in modern frontend and backend development (React, TypeScript).

Responsibilities

• Drive technical direction for the Console and docs platform, setting platform patterns and standards for multiple teams.
• Own the SDKs across seven languages plus CLI; drive code generation, testing, and release pipelines to keep languages consistent and shipping fast.
