Qualifications

• 8+ years building and operating production distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Go or a comparable systems language and CI/CD experience.
• Strong technical leadership and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own core developer infrastructure platforms, including CI/build systems and deployment orchestration, across the full lifecycle from design through production operation.
• Identify the group's highest-leverage problems, turn ambiguous and unscoped challenges into concrete technical roadmaps, and drive alignment across dependent teams.
• Drive step-change improvements to the metrics every engineer feels: build and CI wall time, deploy speed and safety, and developer feedback latency.
• Lead strategic, cross-cutting initiatives end to end, including large-scale platform migrations, landing them across many teams alongside the engineers doing the work.
• Raise the reliability bar for developer infrastructure by owning SLOs, observability, and on‑call, designing systems that recover fast rather than cascade into company‑wide incidents.
• Partner with engineering customers, EMs, and leadership across Coinbase to shape technical strategy and drive org‑wide adoption of what you build.
