Job summary

Moody's Corporation seeks a senior leader to set the technical direction for the Insurance Solutions data platform, driving architecture standards across engineering teams. You will own reference architecture, availability contracts, and security posture while guiding complex lakehouse integrations in a cloud environment.

You will mentor engineers, oversee platform roadmaps for 12–24 months, and interact with leadership to ensure scalable, compliant, and cost-efficient data services across

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in software and data platform engineering.
• Expertise in SQL Server and Linux-based deployments.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes for stateful workloads and cost/reliability analysis.
• Strong backend coding in C#/.NET and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction and long-term roadmap for Moody's Insurance Solutions data platform.
• Own reference architecture including HA/DR design and patch strategy.
• Lead security/compliance posture and evidence for regulatory review.
• Architect lakehouse integration with defined latency, schema evolution guarantees, and catalog strategy.
• Mentor engineers and represent platform in architecture forums and leadership meetings.
