Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong SQL Server, Linux, and Kubernetes knowledge.
• Experience with AI initiatives and responsible AI governance.
• Proven backend experience in C#/.NET.
• Excellent written communication for distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction and long-term roadmap for Moody's Insurance Solutions data platform.
• Own the reference architecture: topology, HA/DR design, storage, tenancy, version strategy, and patch strategy.
• Define the availability contract and lead drills (RPO/RTO).
• Own build-vs-buy decisions and operational baselines.
• Own security and compliance posture with regulatory evidence.
• Architect lakehouse integration with SQL Server to the lakehouse and strategy for formats, catalogs, partitioning.
• Set 12–24 month platform roadmap aligned with priorities and deployment patterns.
• Mentor engineers and represent the platform in architecture forums.
