Moody’s is seeking a Senior Director Manager - Software Engineering to lead the Tooling Platform group within the Data Estate. You will drive the modernization of data tooling, build AI-enabled products, and ensure secure, scalable platforms across domains.

You will recruit, coach, and shape a global engineering organization while partnering with product, governance, and security teams to deliver trusted data products.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering and technology experience
• Leadership of technology managers and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong architecture and full-stack engineering judgment
• Experience modernizing legacy portfolios and platform consolidation
• Agile delivery, DevOps, automated testing, observability, security

Responsibilities

• Lead the Tooling Platform organization with a clear mission and roadmap
• Define a unified data management platform with reusable capabilities
• Build full-stack applications for data operations with AI-enabled tooling
• Consolidate tooling estate while ensuring stability of critical workflows
• Develop a product-driven culture focused on outcomes, reliability, and adoption
