You will own features end-to-end, from design through production operations, while evolving the Python-based tooling and supporting engineers across the company.

The role emphasizes performance optimization, cost efficiency, governance improvements, and mentorship, with a focus on agentic AI workflows and scalable infrastructure for trillions of objects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Rust and Python.
• Strong knowledge of storage and data fundamentals: S3, Parquet/Arrow, PostgreSQL/MySQL.
• Experience designing and operating high-throughput, low-latency services and production systems.
• Demonstrated technical leadership: guiding projects and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate the Content Library's core Rust services at scale.
• Own features end-to-end from design to production operations.
• Evolve the Python userland and support engineers across the company.
• Lead cross-functional projects with ML, search, product, and data teams.
• Drive performance and cost-efficiency across the stack.
• Strengthen governance: data lineage, access controls, deletion propagation.
• Mentor the team and improve the developer experience, including agentic AI workflows.
