CVS Health Digital is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer who will function as both a technical lead and individual contributor. You will help build the next-generation platform enabling use cases to become production-ready products focused on healthier lives.

You will create proofs of concepts and work with a team to drive delivery excellence. Role requires deep Java experience, cloud expertise, microservices design, and Generative AI familiarity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience delivering enterprise solutions in large-scale distributed environments.
• 5+ years of Java development experience.
• 5+ years of enterprise cloud initiatives and cloud computing tech.
• 5+ years of designing and developing modern microservices and cost-effective APIs.
• 3+ years of CI/CD pipeline automation.
• 3+ years in Agile development.
• 2+ years of Generative AI experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient, scalable solutions meeting business needs.
• Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions with architects and senior engineers.
• Provide input on feasibility, performance, and scalability to meet objectives.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards and quality.
• Coordinate with team members to align on decisions and share technical insights.
• Mentor junior developers to grow technical skills.
